Figured out why the “soap” in the mens toilet was terrible at cleaning. On the plus side I now have very smooth and soft hands *strokes palms*.

Yeh, H.264 is fantastic. It provides higher quality video that scales better than your standard FLV found on YouTube. Great for content consumers but is it great for content providers? Well watching my servers CPU’s hit 100% when encoding the same resolution content makes me think that this could be an expensive affair…. *sigh*

Using MacPorts it’s really easy to build the Io language on OS X. Just do a `sudo port selfupdate` and then finally `sudo port install io`.

The tricky bit is unlike the documentation on MacPorts Io isn’t installed as an executable call `io`. Instead try `osxvm`, a bit of a dubious name I know but hey it works:).
